Team Leader – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our night team at St Mary’s Care Group in Kingston upon Hull. In this role you will help create a caring, vibrant environment for residents during evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Support and assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and comfort.
• Provide supervision, training and guidance to junior and new staff members.
• Monitor residents with limited mobility, learning difficulties, confusion or behavioural challenges, using appropriate aids.
• Assist with continence promotion, end‑of‑life care and the completion of care plans and daily records.
• Facilitate social activities, encourage hobbies and respond to nurse call systems, door and telephone enquiries.
• Report resident wellbeing to GPs, support managers and other relevant professionals.

• Willingness to work flexibly across some evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in a similar role and willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3.
