Team Leader - Nights

About the role

Join Avery Healthcare as a Night Team Leader at Aire View Care Home in Leeds. You will support the home management team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care throughout the night shift, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the person‑centred care planning process, including monthly evaluations, care plan audits and action‑plan implementation.
• Facilitate smooth resident discharges, handling documentation, medication hand‑over and communication with next of kin.
• Monitor resident well‑being, identify changes in condition, update care plans and ensure appropriate responses.
• Promote safe working practices, conduct risk assessments and oversee safe moving and handling of residents.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Care for care homes.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a senior care role with direct resident responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the manager’s absence.
