Team Leader – Retail Store (Newquay)

About the role

As a Team Leader at ASDA in Newquay, you will be at the heart of the store’s daily operations, ensuring smooth service and a great shopping experience for customers. You will lead by example, supporting colleagues, managing stock, and stepping in to resolve any issues that arise on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the department and maintain high standards of service.
• Support and coach team members, including new starters.
• Manage stock levels, merchandising, and replenishment tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the store manager to meet performance targets.
• Motivate the team, maintain a positive atmosphere, and ensure health & safety compliance.
