About the role

Team Leader – St Andrew Square, Edinburgh. Work 30 hours per week across five days with a mix of weekend and weekday shifts. Flexibility is required and full training is provided, even if you have no prior retail experience. At Costa Coffee we craft great coffee and memorable moments for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smooth, efficient shifts and ensure service standards are consistently met.
• Train and support new Baristas, providing guidance and feedback.
• Energetise and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Maintain high standards of service and coffee quality throughout each shift.
• Use resourcefulness and adaptability to keep operations running smoothly under pressure.

Required profile

• A reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Adaptable, resourceful and calm under pressure.
• Previous experience as a team leader or a willingness to step into the role.
