Team Manager – Children in Care

About the role

We are seeking a Team Manager to lead our dedicated Children in Care Team. You will be responsible for guiding a group of social workers to deliver high‑quality services that meet statutory duties and best practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of social workers.
• Develop and implement a team plan aligned with organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory duties and promote best practice.
• Oversee case management, performance monitoring and supervision.
• Contribute to strategic development and service improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified social worker with experience in children’s services.
• Proven managerial or team‑lead experience.
• Strong understanding of child protection legislation and statutory frameworks.
• Commitment to delivering outcomes that enable children and families to thrive.

• Salary between £52,413 – £54,495 per annum (pro rata for part‑time).
