Team Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

We are looking for a Team Manager to lead a sales team at Selfridges London, delivering exceptional client service and driving business results for Gucci. You will be responsible for motivating your team, managing product categories and ensuring a high‑performing store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Client Advisors on the shopfloor to ensure exceptional service is delivered.
• Monitor performance of assigned product categories and propose action plans to meet business targets.
• Execute clienteling activities, developing actions to activate, retain and grow the client base.
• Participate in recruiting and developing a high‑performing team.
• Provide regular feedback, manage performance and foster motivation and belonging.
• Partner with the Store Director and Training team to develop product and service knowledge and stay aware of market trends.
• Collaborate with Store Director/Manager and HR on employee relations issues for effective resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Team/Department Manager within the fashion luxury industry.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and devise action plans.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Talent for managing, coaching, and developing a team.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for the fashion luxury sector.
