Team Manager Operations Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a Team Manager to support the Senior Operations Delivery Manager in delivering community‑based mental health services across Surrey. The role combines operational leadership with people management, overseeing a team of 10‑12 staff to ensure safe, high‑quality, recovery‑focused delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for GPimhs Community Connectors, Recovery & Connect and Social Prescribing services.
• Manage day‑to‑day performance of a multidisciplinary team, including recruitment, supervision and development.
• Oversee contract and performance management, ensuring service standards and compliance.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
• Control financial resources, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk and incident management procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary services and staff.
• Experience of safeguarding, risk and incident management.
• Knowledge of mental health, recovery and community‑based services.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Experience working with statutory and voluntary partners.
• Willingness to travel across Surrey and work flexibly.

Required skills

• Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience using database systems for service management.
