About the role
We are seeking experienced Primary Teaching Assistants who have completed Team Teach training to support inclusive SEN schools across South East London. You will work in both specialist and mainstream settings, helping pupils with complex needs to thrive in a safe and structured learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to primary pupils.
- Apply Team Teach strategies for positive behaviour management.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Create a calm, inclusive and structured classroom atmosphere.
- Adapt resources and learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals.
- Promote pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
Required profile
- Team Teach trained (essential).
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN in primary or specialist settings.
- Confidence working with ASD, PMLD, SLD and MLD learners.
- Calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Proactive, reliable and committed to inclusive education.
