About the role
We are seeking Team Teach‑trained Primary Teaching Assistants to support inclusive SEN schools across South East London. The role starts in September 2026 and offers flexible day‑to‑day assignments, both short‑term and long‑term.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils in primary settings.
- Apply Team Teach strategies for positive behaviour management.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt resources and materials to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals.
Required profile
- Team Teach trained (essential).
- Experience supporting children with SEN in primary or specialist settings.
- Confidence working with ASD, PMLD, SLD and MLD learners.
- Calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Required skills
- Team Teach behaviour management techniques.
