Technical Account Handler – Fixed Term (12‑18 months)

About the role

Join an independent Lloyd's broker as a Technical Account Handler on a 12‑18 month fixed‑term contract. You will provide end‑to‑end technical support to the broking and underwriting teams, ensuring accurate processing of insurance documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Check and prepare MRC slips, insurance policies, schedules and endorsements.
• Produce Binding Authority Agreements and Cover Holder appointment agreements using the core broking system.
• Create evidence of cover documentation and process premiums for various classes of business.
• Support in‑house underwriters and brokers, preparing premium‑paid bordereaux as required.
• Prepare closings to DXC and resolve queries from DXC, underwriters and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise closely with claims, compliance and finance teams to meet KPI targets.

Required profile

• Previous technical experience checking and producing MRC slips, preferably within a Lloyd's broker.
• Back‑end processing experience and familiarity with Lloyd's systems such as Crystal and DCOM.
• Proficiency with BinderCloud and Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Collaborative team player able to work with clients and colleagues at all organisational levels.
• Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality work.
