Technical Account Manager

About the role

First Databank is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its Exeter team. You will act as the primary technical liaison for healthcare customers, helping them realise the full value of the company’s software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted technical relationships with healthcare customers and channel partners.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, overseeing implementation, adoption and optimisation of FDB solutions.
• Coordinate resolution of customer issues, defects and service escalations.
• Drive adoption of new features, upgrades and implementation approaches.
• Produce service reports and value reviews using performance data.
• Capture market and competitor insights to inform product development.
• Use approved AI tools to improve planning, support and operational efficiency.
• Document technical requirements, risks, dependencies and success measures.

Required profile

• Experience in a technical customer‑facing role within a healthcare environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and clinical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal Vendor Account Management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑enabled tools for planning and customer support.
