Technical Area Sales Manager – North West

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our client’s market share across the North West region. This permanent position offers an immediate start and the chance to work with a leading engineering employer, focusing on technical sales within the electrical and manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand the existing customer base in the North West (Northeast) region.
• Set and achieve annual and monthly sales targets aligned with the company’s strategic plan.
• Generate new business opportunities and develop new customer relationships.
• Follow up on leads from marketing activities and implement sales and marketing plans.
• Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and industry/product analysis for internal management.
• Maintain accurate data in the company CRM system.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a technical sales role within engineering or manufacturing, preferably electrical.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and as part of a small team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering is desirable.
• Willingness to travel across the North West region for field‑based sales activities.
