Technical Consultant – Financial Planning

About the role

This remote Technical Consultant position supports financial planners with complex pension, investment and tax‑mitigation queries. You will become the go‑to expert for technical advice, helping advisers translate detailed financial data into clear client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to financial planners on pensions, investments and tax mitigation.
• Analyse client cases, explain facts clearly and propose appropriate solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all technical queries within the planning team.
• Support quality assurance and help‑desk functions when required.

Required profile

• Level 4 qualification in a relevant financial discipline.
• Experience as a paraplanner, financial planner, technical/help‑desk specialist or in quality assurance/T&C.
• Ability to advise senior advisers and, when necessary, challenge their recommendations.
