Technical Coordinator – Data & Reporting

About the role

The Technical Coordinator will join the DDaT Information Services Team at NHS Dumfries & Galloway, working at the core of the organisation's digital and data services. You will help transform complex clinical and operational data into actionable information that supports patient care, performance management and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain databases, data repositories, data warehouses and reporting solutions.
• Support the ongoing evolution of the organisation's business intelligence platforms, including Power BI, Qlik and Snowflake.
• Create and enhance dashboards, visualisations and analytical reports using Power BI, MS Fabric and SQL‑based tools.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and corporate teams to capture information requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Drive data quality initiatives and ensure information is accurate, reliable and timely.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical and data‑related issues.
• Provide training, guidance and technical support to end‑users across the NHS.
• Contribute to digital transformation projects, system integrations and AI‑enabled analytics.
