Technical CRO Consultant – AI Product Experimentation

About the role

This contract role will lead the experimentation and conversion optimisation of AI‑driven digital products. You will work with a large, customer‑focused organisation that is rapidly expanding its conversational AI, recommendation engines and decision‑making tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests for AI‑native experiences such as chatbots, recommendation systems and decisioning tools.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and AI teams to ensure accurate instrumentation, tracking and data collection.
• Use feature‑flagging platforms to isolate the impact of specific AI models or features on commercial outcomes.
• Validate experiment implementations, troubleshoot data quality issues and produce reliable performance reports.
• Promote a conversion‑focused mindset, challenging assumptions and linking test results to business metrics.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation and digital experimentation.
• Background in testing, optimising or launching AI‑powered products such as chatbots or LLM‑based interfaces.
• Comfortable working alongside engineers and translating business goals into testable hypotheses.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect experiment outcomes to revenue and conversion targets.
