Technical Delivery Manager – 6‑Month Contract (Day Rate)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to join a leading global financial institution on a six‑month contract in London. The role is hybrid, with 2‑3 days per week in the city office, and offers a day‑rate of £700‑£920. You will lead regulatory‑focused derivatives application projects, ensuring delivery against tight timelines and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of derivatives application development projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Gather and translate business requirements, allocate resources and oversee each project phase from initiation to post‑implementation support.
• Coordinate testing activities (SIT/UAT) and ensure adherence to UK regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, chair steering committee meetings and produce comprehensive status reports.
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex projects within regulated financial services, preferably UK banks.
• Strong understanding of regulatory change initiatives and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as Agile Practitioner, PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
