Technical Engineer – Structural Support Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead high‑quality masonry and structural support projects. You will work closely with architects, façade and structural engineers to deliver efficient, compliant solutions for a range of construction sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from tender stage through to completion, handling values from £50k to £500k+.
• Produce GA layouts, sections, manufacture and setting‑out drawings.
• Respond to technical enquiries from customers and coordinate with suppliers for technical literature.
• Interpret technical drawings from architects, façade and structural engineers and develop detailed solutions.
• Prepare CPD material for clients to enhance product knowledge.
• Develop technical specifications and detailed submissions, including calculations and drawings.

Required profile

• Construction‑related degree (BSc/BEng) preferably in structural or civil engineering.
• Working knowledge of masonry support, fixings, anchoring, restraint, precast concrete, glass façade and brickwork systems.
• IT literate with a proactive, ‘get‑up‑and‑go’ work ethic.
