Technical Estimation Software Trainer

About the role

Trimble is looking for a Technical Estimation Software Trainer in Leeds to support its Estimation clients. You will deliver engaging software training sessions, onboard new clients and help them learn and use the Estimation products. The role covers both remote and in-person training, with four days in the office and travel of up to 25%.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote and in-person training for construction clients of all sizes, tailoring it to client size and working with internal teams to deepen knowledge of software features.
• Assist new or existing clients with training needs and questions, including new client installation.
• Provide technical training via onsite and virtual methods, and work in the training queue when not training or writing training documentation.
• Manage end-to-end client onboarding, system setup and process mapping with clear documentation.
• Cultivate lasting partner relationships and act as a go-to expert and client advocate.
• Create and update materials for classroom trainings and eLearning courses.

Required profile

• Educational background or hands-on experience in construction, civil engineering, architecture, quantity surveying or project management.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to make effective, timely decisions, with a self-starter mindset, strong organisation and time management.
• Bonus points: experience with Total Estimation or similar ConTech platforms, familiarity with ISO 19650, and a background in developing structured training or enablement programmes.

Required skills

• Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Total Estimation products or similar ConTech software is a bonus.
