Technical Helpdesk Support

About the role

Join GXO Logistics as a Technical Helpdesk Support professional, providing 2nd‑ and 3rd‑line assistance for automated warehouse solutions. You will work within the Lifetime Services Helpdesk team, ensuring our clients’ systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd‑ and 3rd‑line support for system‑related incidents, meeting SLA targets.
• Tri­age tickets, update records and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Communicate clearly with customers via phone, email and support software, providing status updates and technical insight.
• Run system‑monitoring tools, analyse data and produce reports on findings.
• Take ownership of technical problems, applying logical and creative solutions to maintain optimal system performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a technical support or 2nd‑line environment, preferably using ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of SQL, cloud hosting technologies such as Azure, and familiarity with WMS/WCS or similar warehouse systems.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex issues to non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays.

What we offer

• Salary range £26,000‑£32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

• Shift patterns Monday‑Friday with built‑in on‑call coverage.
