Technical Lead – Mifid Transaction Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the redesign of our MiFID Transaction Reporting platform for the EMEA region. Based in London, you will work within the Global Middle/Back Office Technology team, collaborating closely with Business, Operations, Compliance and other IT groups to deliver a green‑field solution that aligns with corporate architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end MiFID Transaction Reporting re‑engineering project, ensuring design quality and compliance with global standards.
• Gather and assess new business requests, translating regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Front Office IT, Finance IT and other stakeholders to integrate the new platform.
• Provide regular project updates, manage expectations and handle requirement changes.
• Synchronise with global technology teams to maintain architectural consistency.
• Mentor junior team members and act as the L3 escalation point for EMEA reporting issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in capital markets regulatory reporting, post‑trade or trading environments.
• Proven experience with reporting platforms and strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.
