Technical Manager – EMENA Franchise

About the role

Costa Coffee is seeking a Technical Manager for its EMENA franchise network. You will oversee technical governance and performance across the end‑to‑end supply chain in the MENA region, ensuring compliance with the Costa Quality Management System, global technical policies and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments, reviews and audits with franchise partners, using QMS data and trend analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Manage technical, food safety and quality escalations, conducting investigations, root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with Operations, Food & Beverage, Brand Excellence and Retail teams to embed technical standards.
• Support technical commercialisation activities, ensuring products and suppliers meet agreed quality and specification standards.
• Deliver technical training and coaching to franchise partners to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical governance, food safety or quality management within a franchise or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvement.
• Excellent investigative and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and regions.

Required skills

• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Competence in conducting audits and technical assessments.
