Technical Paraplanner

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Paraplanner to join our established financial planning team in Bradford-on-Avon. You will work on high‑net‑worth (HNW) and ultra‑high‑net‑worth (UHNW) client cases, supporting Financial Advisors with bespoke solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare research, analysis and reports for HNW & UHNW portfolios.
• Collaborate closely with Financial Advisors to develop tailored financial plans.
• Handle cases involving trusts and complex structures.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth agenda by embracing new technology and best practices.
• Support the transition of clients to specialist or Financial Advisor roles where appropriate.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in relevant discipline (further qualifications such as Chartered or STEP are a plus).
• Proven experience as a Paraplanner with strong research and report‑writing abilities.
• Motivation to grow within a dynamic, client‑focused team.
• Confidence in handling bespoke, high‑value cases.

Required skills

• STEP qualification (advantageous).
• Chartered qualification progression (desirable).
