Technical Project Manager – 9‑Month Contract (IR35)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for a nine‑month contract to join a client’s London office. The role involves overseeing internal custom applications, managing multiple projects, and operating within an agile delivery environment. The position is inside IR35 and requires on‑site presence four days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of custom internal applications across several projects.
• Maintain project governance, portfolio oversight, and process‑driven management.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with technical teams.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively with stakeholders without being hands‑on.
• Monitor progress, risks, and issues, providing timely updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of software development and delivery.
• Proven experience managing projects in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated ability to govern portfolios and enforce process‑driven project management.
• Comfortable discussing technical topics with development teams and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in London with a non‑negotiable office presence.
