Technical Project Manager - IPv4/Core IP

About the role

A major UK telecommunications provider is seeking a strategic Technical Project Manager to lead a network transformation initiative focused on IPv4/Core IP addressing. Reporting to senior executive leadership, you will drive the delivery of dual‑stack and IP monetisation projects while ensuring portfolio‑level governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national network infrastructure deployments focusing on Dual Stack IPv4/IPv6 transition and CGNAT/DS‑Lite architectures.
• Oversee IPv4 monetisation projects to maximise the value of IP address assets.
• Provide portfolio‑level governance and reporting to the Director of Data Value Creation.
• Collaborate with Core Engineering, Cybersecurity, Legal, Commercial Finance and Governance teams.
• Manage audit submissions, compliance tracking, risk mitigation and security control validations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telecom technical project or programme management within a regulated carrier environment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Dual Stack, CGNAT and DS‑Lite network architectures.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret business cases and commercial results.
• SAFe or Agile certification.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale network infrastructure projects.
