Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our client’s engineering team in Eastbourne. Working on a hybrid basis (three days on‑site), you will support senior project managers and engineers in delivering a portfolio of projects, products and programmes on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in gathering requirements, defining scope and creating project plans.
• Maintain schedules, documentation and status reports using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project and PowerBI.
• Track progress against timelines, budget and scope, escalating risks and issues as needed.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams, customers and suppliers, ensuring dependencies and deliverables are met.
• Prepare regular project updates for stakeholders under senior guidance.
• Support issue escalation and contribute to solution‑focused discussions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in project coordination or support across the engineering project lifecycle.
• Ability to work in structured or regulated environments.
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
