Technical Project Manager – Live Events (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to own the delivery of live, virtual and hybrid events for high‑profile pharma and tech clients. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the Cheadle office and the remainder remote, and involves frequent UK and international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage events from brief through to post‑event reconciliation, including budgeting and quoting.
• Lead on‑site technical delivery – set‑up, troubleshooting and front‑of‑house support.
• Coordinate suppliers, venue crews and freelancers across the UK and abroad.
• Produce schedules, risk assessments, floor plans and technical specifications.
• Act as the technical point of contact for non‑technical project colleagues.

Required profile

• Significant experience in AV production and live‑event technical project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong client‑facing skills and experience managing suppliers and third‑party contractors.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 or ISO14001:2015 standards is a plus.
