Technical Sales Administrator (Parts Advisor)

About the role

This full‑time, temporary position sits at the heart of Mixxos Group’s engineering business. You will support customers and engineers by handling parts enquiries, preparing quotations and processing orders, ensuring the right components are delivered quickly and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Identify required parts using technical drawings, exploded diagrams and parts catalogues.
• Prepare and issue accurate quotations.
• Process web‑shop and direct customer orders.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and lead times.
• Follow up quotations to convert them into orders.
• Maintain records in internal systems and Excel.
• Support the web‑shop with product listings and pricing updates.
• Assist with stock management and annual stock takes.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing technical sales, parts or support role.
• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and parts manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and proactive approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and exploded diagrams.
