Technical Sales Engineer – Photonics/Optics

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with a background in photonics or optics to join a leading engineering company. You will play a pivotal role in generating new business, delivering technical demonstrations and building lasting client relationships across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the photonics and optics market.
• Visit client sites to understand requirements and present tailored solutions.
• Provide technical demonstrations and product training to key stakeholders.
• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with existing customers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within photonics or optics.
• Strong understanding of optical technologies and applications.
• Full UK driving licence.
