Technical Sales Engineer – Pumps / Fans / Industrial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales of industrial pumps, fans and related services across the UK. The role combines technical expertise with customer‑facing activities, involving regular site visits and office‑based quotation work.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a £1.75 M sales target for pumps, fans, spare parts and engineering services.
• Visit customer sites, assess needs and recommend technical solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations and manage opportunities through to order.
• Identify and win new business while nurturing existing accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing, service and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background, preferably with experience in rotating equipment.
• Proven experience in maintenance, service engineering or technical sales within process industries.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel 2‑4 days per week.
