Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Doors & Access Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to promote and sell industrial doors, shutters and access systems across the Midlands, based in our Birmingham office.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the manufacturer’s service and repair portfolio for industrial doors, shutters and access systems.
• Proactively visit clients and upsell solutions throughout the Midlands.
• Liaise with customers in industrial, government and retail sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities via networking, site visits and existing relationships.
• Manage and develop an existing customer base, ensuring high service levels and maximising revenue.
• Provide technically focused advice and recommend suitable products and services.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience within the industrial doors or a closely related sector.
• Willingness to consider roles such as Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Internal Sales or Account Manager.
• Mechanical and electrical experience is highly advantageous.
• Innovative, proactive thinker with a great attitude.
• Commercially astute and able to think outside the box.
• Strong literacy, communication and numeracy skills, both verbal and written.
• Hungry, go‑getter with a dynamic personality.
