Technical Supervisor - MOD NIHL

About the role

The Technical Supervisor will lead the team to meet the technical development objectives set for the team and each individual. The role involves providing supervision, technical support and training to the team while maintaining a caseload of MOD NIHL matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training and technical support to their team.
• Continue to handle a reduced caseload.
• Ensure compliance with benchmarks set by Keoghs and by clients whilst driving settlement and ensuring quality of delivery.
• Identify and implement appropriate learning activities to ensure achievement of authority levels and development of team members.
• Ensure effective communication with the team at all times.
• Assist with reviewing client complaints, taking action to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
• Complete projects and process updates to improve operating practices or address client issues.
• Ensure compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2019.

Required profile

• Experience in the file handling of disease claims (Essential).
• Technical sign‑off on litigated NIHL matters from one hundred and fifty thousand FA, two hundred and fifty thousand HA (Essential).
• Proficient in all stages of the litigation process of disease claims (Essential).
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading a project or a team to deliver outcomes in the insurance/legal sector (Desirable).
• Experience developing others by identifying learning requirements and planning improvements (Desirable).

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience using a Case/Claims Management system.
