Technical Support Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Advisor to join a growing engineering company in Hook. The role involves providing remote technical assistance to customers and field engineers, diagnosing issues with advanced web‑based monitoring tools, and delivering 24/7 support through rotating shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support to customers and field engineers.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems using web‑based monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Work rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage (4 days on, 4 days off).
• Record incidents, maintain accurate logs, and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers throughout the support process.

Required profile

• Strong customer service background (retail, hospitality, call centre, or similar).
• Excellent problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work shift patterns, including evenings and nights.
• Recent graduate or college leaver with a desire to start a technical support career.
