About the role

Technical Surveyor – Lifts & Modernisation role at KONE, supporting lift modernisation projects across London. The role involves assessing existing lift installations, conducting detailed site surveys, and providing technical recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out detailed technical surveys of existing lift equipment to assess condition, configuration, and performance.
• Identify opportunities for lift modernisation and recommend suitable upgrade solutions.
• Produce accurate survey reports and technical documentation to support project proposals and delivery.
• Work closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to develop customer‑focused solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical expert throughout the survey process.
• Support escalator surveys where required.

Required profile

• Strong lift industry experience with solid technical understanding of lift systems and components.
• Previous experience within lift modernisation, repairs, installation, or technical surveying.
• Ability to assess equipment condition and determine practical modernisation solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
• Good communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations.
