Technical Team Lead – .Net & C#

About the role

Ascend Consulting is seeking a Technical Team Lead to drive the development and maintenance of its internal software solutions. Based in Horsham with a hybrid working model, you will lead a remote team of five developers, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery that aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of developers delivering internal applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing .Net‑based systems, contributing to code where needed.
• Collaborate with business users, accounts, operations, support and sales to define clear requirements.
• Oversee design and architecture decisions to ensure scalability and security.
• Manage project timelines, risks and delivery milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in C#.Net (or Python) development.
• Strong background with SQL Server and software design/architecture.
• Proven team‑leadership and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple business domains.
