Technical Trainer – Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

You will deliver technical training on vehicle maintenance to aspiring technicians, both online and in a workshop environment. The position offers a clear pathway from hands‑on engineering to a teaching career, supported by full training and qualification funding.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver vehicle maintenance training sessions virtually and in‑person.
• Develop and update course content, integrating new technologies and EV knowledge.
• Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment in the workshop and online platforms.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and continuous improvement of training materials.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Desire to transition from hands‑on work to an instructional role.
• Motivation to obtain instructor qualifications and influence the next generation of automotive technicians.

Required skills

• Vehicle maintenance expertise.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) technology.
• Proficiency with workshop tools and equipment.
• Experience using online teaching platforms.
