Technician – Chemical Injection & Corrosion Monitoring

About the role

CIU, a SES Energy Company, is expanding rapidly and is looking for a Technician to join its Bridge Of Don workshop in Aberdeen. The role focuses on the manufacture, repair and maintenance of chemical injection and corrosion monitoring equipment, supporting both on‑site and offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise daily with the Workshop Supervisor to communicate and execute operational requirements.
• Apply chemical injection and corrosion monitoring products according to client specifications and internal procedures.
• Manufacture, repair, and maintain chemical injection skids, pumps, tools and related components, including flushing, dismantling, inspection, re‑assembly and pressure testing.
• Prepare equipment for safe and timely dispatch and complete required reports and documentation.
• Perform general workshop duties, assemble new equipment to specifications and provide technical support to Project Managers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of small‑bore tubing systems, air or electrically driven pumps and pressure relief valves.
• Strong focus on HSEQ with a structured, service‑oriented approach.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Willingness to work offshore or onsite; valid offshore certification is advantageous.
