Technology Alignment Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Technology Alignment Manager to create and implement a single technology standard across a group of Managed Service Providers, improving efficiency and reducing support tickets.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing client technology setups and document configurations.
• Define a standard build in collaboration with senior leadership, including tools and settings for all clients.
• Analyse ticket volumes to identify problematic configurations and select the optimal product stack.
• Develop and maintain shared documentation of client environments.
• Migrate clients to the standard build, starting with those generating the most tickets.
• Model cost and pricing of selected products with commercial teams.
• Create technology roadmaps and lead reviews to reduce risk and cost.
• Champion automation for updates, user onboarding and monitoring.
• Ensure ongoing alignment of client environments and integrate newly acquired clients into the standard.
• Support sales and marketing with material explaining the standard build and track savings.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on IT experience in a managed service provider or internal IT team.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, networking and typical business IT setups.
• Proven experience standardising or improving IT environments, not just fixing faults.
• Ability to explain technology choices clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable auditing and documenting IT environments in detail.
• Experience with Kaseya RMM tooling.
• Organised, methodical and focused on preventing future problems.
• Willingness to travel to client and group sites when required (remote‑first role).
