Technology Architect – Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Data Conversion

About the role

We are seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM Technology Architect to lead data conversion initiatives for Core HR, Absence and Payroll modules within the UK public sector. The role requires deep expertise in HDL, BIP and a strong understanding of UK payroll processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM, focusing on Absence, Core HR and Payroll for UK clients, especially data conversion and report development.
• Demonstrate expert proficiency in UK Payroll, Pension and Absence processes.
• Apply hands‑on experience with Oracle Global Payroll and Absence Cloud in the UK public sector.
• Conduct System Integration Testing, support User Acceptance Testing and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR), and provide hyper‑care support.
• Utilize HCM technical tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting (BIP), Fast Formulas and Payroll Batch Loader.
• Communicate complex technology solutions to technical, business and management audiences, including walkthroughs of Business Process Specification documents.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of UK Payroll, Pension and Absence processes.
• Proven experience with Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud in the UK public sector.
• Experience guiding projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear insights for senior management.
• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
