Technology Platform Lead – Consumer Banking

About the role

We are hiring multiple Technology Platform Leads to own the technology strategy, engineering delivery and operational performance of critical consumer banking platforms. Working in a "two‑in‑a‑box" partnership with a Business Lead, you will share accountability for delivering platform outcomes that drive customer, colleague and business success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategy for core banking, segments & propositions, or consumer deposits platforms.
• Lead large engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, speed and continuous improvement.
• Drive platform modernisation, migration from legacy systems and adoption of next‑generation capabilities.
• Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, scalable and meet regulatory standards.
• Balance strategic investment with day‑to‑day operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Lead to align technical delivery with business priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, complex engineering teams in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture, modernisation and cloud‑enabled solutions.
• Ability to work in partnership with business stakeholders and translate outcomes into technical delivery.
• Track record of delivering secure, resilient and high‑performing platforms at scale.
