Technology Support Specialist – London

About the role

We are seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join a world‑leading architecture and design practice in central London. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT operations for both the UK studio and overseas locations, providing first‑line assistance to a creative team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all hardware, software and networking queries from local and remote users.
• Set up, deploy and repair workstations, laptops and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Manage user accounts, licensing and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Exchange Online.
• Configure and support AV equipment and meeting‑room technology, and coordinate desk moves or hardware changes.
• Maintain the asset management register and create knowledge‑base articles for common issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical support role.
• Previous exposure to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector is preferred.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a logical approach and the ability to work with diverse personalities in a creative environment.

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting of Windows Desktop and Server environments (Mac OS experience a plus).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals; experience with Cisco Meraki or Hyper‑V desirable.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online.
• Support for iOS and Android mobile devices.
• Familiarity with industry applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and Autodesk products.
