Telecom Business Analyst – Enterprise Ethernet Projects

About the role

We are looking for a senior Telecom Business Analyst with deep domain expertise to drive a critical network and infrastructure transformation for a major UK telco. The role bridges technical architecture teams and commercial stakeholders, focusing on enterprise‑grade Ethernet connectivity platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, network architects and commercial teams to elicit, document and manage business, functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Map "as‑is" and "to‑be" processes for enterprise Ethernet services (Leased Lines, E‑Line, E‑LAN, Dedicated Internet Access) covering fulfillment, assurance and billing.
• Act as the primary liaison between wholesale/B2B divisions and technical delivery squads, facilitating workshops and aligning scope.
• Model B2B user journeys, conduct gap analysis between legacy infrastructure and target architecture.
• Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications; maintain the backlog in Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with QA to define end‑to‑end testing frameworks and support cut‑over activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within the telecommunications sector, specifically B2B, wholesale or enterprise network portfolios.
• Proven track record delivering OSS/BSS projects and translating complex network requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of Ethernet products, fibre delivery, WAN and core routing principles.
