Telephony Engineer – VoIP & Unified Communications

About the role
We are looking for a Telephony Engineer with a strong VoIP background to join a leading UK communications provider. You will work on high‑end customer sites and the company headquarters, delivering installation, maintenance and commissioning of modern communication systems.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain and commission VoIP, IT and network solutions at client locations.
- Work with Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling for infrastructure projects.
- Provide on‑site support Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure project delivery and quality.
Required profile
- Engineering background with experience in telephony or VoIP.
- Familiarity with unified communications technologies.
- Ability to travel to sites across Manchester and surrounding areas.
