Telesales Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Telesales Administrator for our client in Basildon. The role involves delivering excellent sales service, handling customer enquiries by phone and email, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure timely product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service through phone, email and occasional cold‑calling.
• Prepare and submit pricing, quotes and tenders, progressing enquiries to sale.
• Maintain a fully stocked warehouse and assist with receiving new shipments.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits and keep product knowledge up‑to‑date.
• Manage point‑of‑sale processes and recommend items that meet customer needs.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in office sales or telesales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to retain technical product knowledge.
• Customer‑service focused with a confident, engaging personality.
• Basic administration skills (Word, Excel, email).

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:00.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with a Christmas shutdown.
• Salary £27,000‑£30,000 per year.
