Telesales & Business Developer

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales & Business Developer to join Howdens Joinery’s Hornsey depot. You will be the first point of contact for trade customers, building relationships both on the phone and face‑to‑face, and helping to grow the depot’s sales volume.

Key responsibilities

• Contact existing trade customers daily to maintain relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Analyse customer data to reactivate inactive accounts and drive repeat business.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers and support the sales pipeline.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing and general depot duties.
• Collaborate with the wider depot team to meet sales targets and deliver excellent service.

Required profile

• Confident communicator comfortable speaking on the phone and face‑to‑face.
• Self‑motivated, positive and proactive with strong organisational skills.
• Commercially minded with a focus on achieving sales targets.
• Experience in telesales, account management or a customer‑focused role is advantageous.
