Telesales Team Manager – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Telesales Team Manager to lead a high‑performing group of 10‑12 sales consultants in Manchester City Centre. You will drive daily performance, coach staff, and help the team exceed ambitious revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct morning huddles, set daily goals and monitor progress.
• Interview, recruit and onboard new sales consultants.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training and career development support.
• Set KPIs, manage targets and produce regular performance reports.
• Handle HR duties such as 1‑to‑1s, disciplinaries, sickness and absence management.
• Motivate the team with incentives, recognise achievements and maintain a high‑energy environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a B2C or B2B telesales or contact‑centre team.
• Strong communication style, confident and able to give continuous feedback.
• Experience in interviewing, recruiting and developing sales talent.
• Ability to set and monitor targets, KPIs and daily call metrics.
• Hands‑on experience with HR processes such as performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
