Temp-to-Perm Home Delivery Driver – 3.5T Luton Van

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Home Delivery Driver to join our busy transport team on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. You will deliver and install premium bed bases and mattresses to customers' homes across London and the South East, providing a professional face for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and install bed bases and mattresses in customers' homes.
• Drive a 3.5‑tonne Luton van safely and professionally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Adapt to changing schedules, traffic conditions, and customer requirements.
• Work collaboratively as part of the transport team and follow company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a delivery driver (essential).
• Comfortable entering customers' homes and representing the business professionally.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and positive attitude.
• Physically fit for lifting and installing products.
• Full UK driving licence.

What we offer

• £14.00 per hour (temp‑to‑perm opportunity).
• Permanent salary of approximately £34,000 per annum after the temporary period.
• Hotel accommodation and meal allowance for overnight stays (approximately every other week).
• Monday‑to‑Friday working pattern (45 hours per week).
