Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer to join our Housing team in Ealing, West London. In this hybrid role you will help ensure that temporary accommodation services meet regulatory standards and support residents throughout their tenancy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a portfolio of temporary accommodation properties, ensuring providers meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Support tenancy management, including ending tenancies through appropriate legal processes.
• Conduct property inspections and monitor accommodation standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments, landlords, housing providers and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and produce timely compliance and performance reports.

Required profile

• Experience working in a homelessness or housing environment.
• Experience ending tenancies through the appropriate legal process.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accommodation.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
