About the role

Fleet Alliance is seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant for a 12‑month fixed‑term, part‑time position (25 hours per week). You will support the finance team with bookkeeping, invoicing and direct‑debit processing while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

Raise sales invoices and process purchase invoices.
Manage monthly direct debits, including set‑up of new customers.
Reconcile invoices and produce timely financial reports.
Escalate issues to the Senior Accounts Assistant or Finance Manager.
Handle email queries from internal and external parties.

Required profile

Strong attention to detail.
Good time‑management and numeracy skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

Excel
Sage (experience beneficial)
