Temporary Accounts Payable Supervisor - Media

About the role

This temporary contract provides short‑term sickness cover for a well‑established media business. You will lead a busy Accounts Payable (AP) function and hit the ground running, using strong NetSuite expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the AP team, ensuring accurate invoice processing within agreed timescales.
• Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, complying with company policies and supplier terms.
• Serve as the first point of contact for AP queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Maintain the AP ledger, keeping all transactions accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Manage month‑end AP activities, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to resolve purchase‑order and invoice discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable, including supervising or leading a team.
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite (essential).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
• Background in a media, production or creative environment is desirable.
