Temporary Centre Manager – Shopping Centre

About the role

This temporary position involves managing a busy shopping centre in Hyde, Greater Manchester. The role starts immediately and may include occasional weekend cover to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee hard and soft facilities management services across the site.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Ensure compliance with client systems, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Monitor and maintain health and safety standards throughout the property.
• Manage on‑site contractors, guaranteeing delivery to the required standards.
• Conduct regular audits, review budgets and secure best value for expenditures.
• Maintain accurate records, systems and audit files.

Required profile

• Valid IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
• Previous experience in commercial property, facilities management, retail or shopping centre environments is advantageous.
• Availability to start immediately.
